On the 28th of September 2015, an environmental impact assessment mission of two lost nets was carried out in the Cap d’Antibes.

The first net, located in Eden Roc between 33 and 36 meters deep, was on a coralligenous habitat. It was 24 meters long and was covering about 250 m² of gorgonians and other coralligenous algae which were more than 50%bleached and necrotized.

The second net, located in the Gulf of Juan between 16 and 19 metres deep, was hung up on a rock surrounded by Posidonia meadows. Measuring 8 meters long, it covered about 20 m² of totally abraded rock, free from algae but clogging all the cavities in the rock.
